Mascarpone placed in $100,000 Group 1 Final. Another Herbert Bloodstock sale, 3yo Our Sir Vancealot filly Mascarpone kept up her good work lately in placing 3rd in the Vic Sires Stakes Final, while Huntly Trainer/Driver Anthony Crossland steered another purchase Sam Rae into 2nd placing in the Co Final at Shepperton recently, while Tell Me Bad recorded a similar placing to make the Provincial Cup Final at Mooney Valley.
Closer to home, Franco Extreme was only a half neck from the winner at Harold Park last week and is overdue for a win after placing 4 of his last 5 starts.
